With the FDA hearings on silicone implants starting

this coming Monday, April 11, please participate in

The Food and Drug Administration is again going to

take up the issue of whether to make silicon breast

implants widely available. An FDA panel will consider

the issue next week. Inamed (IMDC, news, msgs) and

Mentor (MNT, news, msgs) are trying to get the

implants approved. The FDA limited their use in 1992

because of safety concerns.
