Thanx also for ur wonderful observations,Balvinder,both here and at the CWGames. I do agree,this would be one last time,we get chance to host,such a huge event,in near future. Once the games will end,the Mudslinging,between the event Organisers,The CBI,the Political parties would be out in the open..and we all viewers and repectable law abiding citizens,will have a field day,watching it all. When,I mentioned,the cost of 150Crores,was a bit too much, for a poor country like India,just for the 3hrs Opening ceremony,which could have been wisely utilised otherwise,to build,atleast 10 beautiful hospitals,each for a cost of 15crores,which would have made the rural compulsary(read useless,presently due to inadequate,pityable rural PHCs..etc),posting a learning curve for the young docs..etc,one esteemed alumni,from 85batch,remarked,that,I should not feel bad,for the money spent,which was to showcase, INDIA'S SUPERPOWER STATUS!!(Dont know,How,we managed to show that,when other ground realities r there for everyone to see) Thanx for ur views once again.
