Perspective

Sometimes the simple act of stepping back and changing our vantage point can help us to better appreciate the richness of our lives. Here are a couple of things to consider:

If you have food in the refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof overhead and a place to sleep....... . you are richer materially than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish somewhere... ...... you are among the top 8% of the world's wealthy

If you can read this post, your gift of education gives you an advantage that 40%+ of the worlds citizens don't have.

Kind of gives you a whole new perspective doesn't it?

Remember this with gratitude and humility the next time you start to feel yourself focusing on "need" or lack. True Wealth comes from a sense of respect and appreciation of your blessings. Sometimes this simple moment of recognition can propel us forward by clearly highlighting all of the advantages and potential we do have.

Today:

Say `Thank You'. Shift your perspective. Take a moment to reflect on all of the advantages you have in this World, and then think of those who don't have the beautiful gifts of education, housing, healthcare, or food.

Realize the ability to shape your thought patterns from "have not" to "have'. Shift your thoughts towards abundance & sharing rather than lack & be generous and humbled by the blessings in your life.
