Guest guest
More Kombucha classes coming up... My class flyer is: Kombucha 101 – How to Make the Divine Tea What is it? What could it do for me? You mean I can make it easily in my home?!? Fermented foods have been used for thousands of years to bring good health to those that use them. If you have tasted the Kombucha, or Synergy varieties from the health food store, perhaps you already know how beneficial it can be. It probably represents the fastest growing health food beverage over the past couple years. If you haven't yet had the pleasure, try it and see. If the taste is too strong, there are different teas to use to reduce the intensity. Also, they say that making your own gives you even more benefits. The benefits make finding the right tea to use worthwhile. This class offers tastes of many different varieties of Kombucha, instruction on how to make it, and how to make it perfect for you. Digestive issues? Pain in your joints and muscles? Sugar cravings? Low energy? Blood sugar irregularities? Your body needs help detoxing? Just want a good, healthy beverage that tastes different than water? Kombucha may be part of the answer. Get comfortable with the ins and outs of Kombucha making. This class is taught by Barb Bredesen, who has been making Kombucha Divine for 4 years and sells it to an extended group of Kombucha Devotees. She loves experimenting with different teas, as well as making " 2nd ferments " with different flavors. She makes all her Kombucha Divine with Wellness Water, available in an easy to use pitcher. It not only removes much of the bad, but adds back what water is meant to have in the first place, what makes water a healing force. A great gift for a college student who doesn't have the means or source for good quality water. $30 class fee includes your own starter culture and a liter size bottle of your favorite Kombucha Divine to take home. If you have your own culture, the price will be reduced by $10. Please call her at , or e-mail her back separately, to register for either class. Class dates, times and places: Saturday, March 14, TFMN Warehouse, 302 W. 61st ST. (the warehouse is behind 304) Thursday, March 26, at TFMN Warehouse, 302 W. 61st ST.
