Guest guest
While I know that you have not had a mastectomy, some of your bra needs will be the same for a while. I went to my local American Cancer Society, and received free bras and prostheses. I am a cancer survivor...had a bi-lateral mastectomy....I had salines for 10 years and then had then removed in January. Good luck! Guest guest
well my info on bras is pretty much the same. Post explant op I wore the sports bras - bought 20 different ones and hated them all. After that I tried buying regular bras w/ padding or push ups - whatever to ease the transition from some to none. they were all painful and I ended up getting a very soft bra w/ no wire from Dilliards. this is the only place I could find them - they also have the off sizes... mine is almost A. While at home, I go braless.... I am small busted and do not really need any support. I did find a good water bra that made me look pretty decent but it also had wire and kinda freaked me out w/ the water thing so I never bought it. I stick to the soft cotten lightly padded with no wire. shari
Guest guest
Jackie, Wear the bra that makes you feel the best . . . I suspect the tight one is it! . . . Regardless of when you quit wearing it, you will fluff later. The idea right now is to make all the internal scar tissue to work for you by holding you up, rather than sagging. You won't be sorry! Guest guest
If you are looking for a really nice padded bra, Calvin Klein makes one that I buy at Nordstrom. It has some sort of filler in it, not sure what it is. It is very natural looking and feeling. My family all thought I had breast implants the first time I wore it.
