Hi all,

I would like to make some CP dog soap with essential oils but cant find alot of

information on

which essential oils would be good to use for dogs... Since they will lick

after being bathed

I know I need something that is going to be non-toxic.. I was thinking of

perhaps tea tree and

peppermint, but not sure? I also wanted to incorporate emu oil and perhaps

ground oatmeal into

my base oils... I currently use olive, lard, palm kernel, and cocoa butter in

my soaps for

people, would of any of these be detrimental for dogs? Any ideas or thoughts

would be greatly

appreciated!

Thanks!

Tea tree oil is wonderful for pets, so is

peppermint (even though my dogs will eat

peppermints for treats, so I stay away from it for

them) Lavender is also nice and soothing.

Don't see anything on your list that wouldn't be

nice for them. Go for it.

Let us know how it turns out.
