Guest guest
I thought I had this. The outsides of both my legs in the hip region just kills me every night shortly after laying down and if I could get to sleep when I wake up I am in Hell! That is the only way I can describe the pain! My PCP did a couple of simple finger pressure point test on me , then did xrays. The result is no Avascular Necrosis but rather since Chronic Pain takes on a life of its of its own (after a number of months or years??) I can only sleep on my right or left side: This has created chronic daily unrelenting femural head bursitis at the end of both femur bones which can give the illusion of Avascular Necrosis or some other type of very serious hip problem as Femural Head Bursitis is Very,Very Painful!!! There is no treatment besides acute shots of steroids which we all know in the long run is going to get us nowhere! You can't continue them forever and they can cause problems of they're own! I contracted Tuberculosis as a child from my babysitter (she Died). My Brother and I still have it in an arressted state and I have been advised not to have very much steroids as it could reactivate the TB!??--Just one example! Anyway>>>>>>>>>>>My 2 cents! Good Luck!
