Dearest Friends:

Thank you for this wonderful site. I feel that I must vent today because I'm so angry at rotten BMS and Rotten Dow. It does not surprise me that most women do not want to sue the manufacturers of these deadly breast implants. They will do anything to stop you from litigating, yet in the nineties they were forced to pay millions to women. I know a young woman here who sued BMS, and they literally had her followed, so that they knew everything about her. This young woman had their rotten double-lumen breast implant and it ruptured. She had been born with just one breast, and on her fifteenth birthday her Mother gave her a breast implant for her birthday. I have met with her Mother, and she has so much guilt over this, but she knew nothing about the dangers of breast implants. When this girl sued BMS, she did this to help to prove to her Mother that it was not her fault that she became sick. The fault lies with BMS, because they have destroyed her young life; they are so powerful and have no sense of guilt.

I, too, sued BMS and Dow because I wanted to be vindicated, and unlike them I did this in good faith because their products failed. They have the proof that my breast implants were grossly ruptured, and they know how sick I am. Their plan is that I will die before they have to face me in depositions (13 years of litigation). But they will! How can they try to get away with this? I wonder how much that BMS paid Lance Armstrong to make them look good? If he knew what they have done to countless women, he might not have been willing to pitch for them. We know that Dow is hiding behind the class actions, and they too will make sure that the women will never see a cent.

What we need is "The Lawyers From Hell" to take over and nail them big-time. I have an article here called Fatal Litigation, and all women should read it before going into litigation. In this article, O'Quinn was paying women one million dollars a week--and several women were paid per week. If they are not guilty, why were they giving in to this lawyer? Please see the movie Breast Men. It is a shocking portrayal of all women who have had breast implants, as well as a revealing biography of Cronin and Gerow...the Dow men.

Thank you for allowing me to vent...much love....Lea

YOur welcome! Vent anytime you feel the need. That is one of the

reasons for this group. Besides, venting can help get rid of rage

and depression and that is a positive! I hope that someday you will

be vindicated also.

Lea,

The word is that " The Lawyers from Hell " were bought

out by the manfacturer's . . . The way it worked, they

agreed not to take any new cases in return for

settling the cases they already had.

Laminack said that the children's issues would be

addressed after the women's cases were settled, and

that the kids could take up their own case at age 18.

Last word from them is that there will be no cases on

behalf of the kids . . . I'm quoting their office!

This is one reason I felt it important to start

SiliconeKids . . . The kids have absolutely no

recourse in a legal sense! (I'd love to see someone

prove me wrong there!)

Hugs,

Rogene

Honey, I would never have gone with this firm. I just meant that it would be

nice if some good lawyers took an interest in the sick women. In my case the

toxic tort took place here in Alberta, and it will be heard here in

Edmonton, Alberta. When Laminack came to Edmonton, I refused to meet him.

The lawyers would not allow me to enter the room where all the women were,

because I was there only to give the women support. They knew that I was in

private litigation. Many of these women got their millions and dropped me

like a hot potato. I'm not very well liked by many women because I wanted to

litigate here. I have an angel of a lawyer, and he has said that he will

take my case to the Supreme Court of Canada if he has to.

I love you............Lea
