Hi Liz, I've tagging on late here, but that is how mine also looked,

I was scared to look & when I did I regretted it, they were

horrible, but just focus on resting & your breast will do what they

need to do, it took mine about 2 wks to fluff back & they were

looking like they did before implants in no time. Hang in there! How

are your symptoms? I noticed a huge difference instantly.

Did the PS say anything about your capsules?

I just glanced over at my implants as they were removed & they were

a bright yellow, they disposed of them very quickly & I didn't ask

to keep them to send off to Dr Blaise, and they didn't offer to run

any kinds of tests/coultures.

I wish so bad I would've asked to keep them, but at the time I

didn't really want to know & I just wanted them out!

should go away now. my plastic surgeon said nothing about my

capsules of if my implants look infected. i wish i knew what they

looked like though. i sure they werent very thick at all. but he

said he was going to culture everything. what were your results?

Hi Liz. I have issues with the way my breasts look (I was explanted about a year

and

a half ago.) It was hard for me too seeing the girl on Mtv. It seems like

everything is

so focused on breasts. Movies, music, everything. It hurts me to see that stuff

-

pretty much on a daily basis. I'm hoping that will get better as time goes by.

I'm just

still so bitter.

But, you know...we are lucky because we learned a valuable lesson that so many

people seem to be oblivious to - and that's the importance of health and

strength over

physical things.

Be strong. It'll get better...and you are not alone. That one fact has kept me

going so

many times! - Colleen

Hi,

I also did not ask to keep my implants and found out later that the hospital had thrown them away. However, I was able to obtain copies of the slides that were taken by the hospital pathologist along with his written report. It is my understanding that this is standard proceedure. Even though there were only two, one of which was bad, I was able to send them to a lab, who in turn reported that I had silicone throughout my body.
