My hubby has been so supportive during explant week. I flew out of

state to have Dr. M. do the surgery in Dallas. My husband called

often, and was early at the airport to meet me. He even left his car

unattended to find me in the baggage claim area! hehe true love --I was

concerned that he didn't grab me and hug me and kiss me. When we got

home I asked him why didn't he hug me? He said, I'm so afraid I will

hurt you. I told him he could hug me, and he was so cute. He bent

forward and hugged me without touching my breasts. He's doing great,

and so am I. He's turned into macho man today, killing all kinds of

weeds and dry branches and things in the yard. He's in rare form, and

even fixed my lunch for me. So, all things worked out. His different

behaviors before my explant surgery were due to his own fear issues

about his wife flying away to a strange state, a strange surgeon, a

strange hospital, having her breasts ripped open again, and not being

able to control any of the process. After he realized I had made the

best choice, he's really happy. He said he doesn't care what size my

breasts will be, and that he's just glad I'm feeling better. So now we

get to live the happily ever after part! without the implants - J

I knew that your husband would be thre for you!! and that he loves

you and I am so glad that now this has brought you closer together.

Bad times have the power to break us or make us. It sounds like

your relationship was made stronger. Best of luck in healing!
