The second dialog on the tape was particularly moving for me. It shows how the Work weaves its transforming magic, even though you may think it's just all in your head. The final statement by the woman working with still blows me away and I must have seen the tape over fifteen times. Loving what is ... Guest guest
Hi I don't have the tape, and my client will come to me next week. My client is jealouse at her sister. I want to do the work with her. I was thinking of 2 deferent ways: 1. If you would have what your sister has you would be happier, can you absolutly know that that is true? 2. What do you think of your sister? Turn it around: She is smart, I am smart... These two ways are the oposite of 1 another. What do you think? > > Doing the work on Jealousy. > > > > I am Jealouse at :-o because: ..... > > > > > > May I recommend that you purchase the BK video tape " Jealousy and > resentment " from the BK website. Guest guest
Dear Tami: I suggest that you have your client fill out the Judge Your Neighbor Worksheet (6 Questions), then facilitate her by asking her the 4 questions about each of her answers to the 6 questions. Then ask her to turn around her answers. This is how you facilitate the work. It is very simple. You seem to be making it much more difficult than it really is. The two questions you are contemplating would be referred to as " sub questions " and may or may not be appropriate, depending upon how she answers her 6 questions. Those are my thoughts. :-) Love, Steve D. > Hi > > I don't have the tape, > and my client will come to me next week. > My client is jealouse at her sister. > > I want to do the work with her. > > I was thinking of 2 deferent ways: > > 1. > If you would have what your sister has > you would be happier, > can you absolutly know that that is true? > > 2. > What do you think of your sister? > Turn it around: > She is smart, > I am smart... > > These two ways are the oposite of 1 another. > > What do you think? > > > > > > > Doing the work on Jealousy. > > > > > > I am Jealouse at :-o because: ..... > > > > > > > > > > May I recommend that you purchase the BK video tape " Jealousy and > > resentment " from the BK website. As for doing the Work with your client, I would identify a stressful thought such as " I should not be jealous of my sister " , then ask the four questions as set out in LWI followed by the TA's. The focus being on helping your client realize for herself that it is her THINKING not her sister that is the cause of her painful feelings. Loving what is ... Guest guest
Dear lovetheworkofbk, For me, Tami's focus should be to facilitate her client in the use of the 4 questions in order to discover the client's truth about the perceived situation. Although it may seem at first glance for you and I that it must be the client's thinking that is the cause of her suffering; that is just our story and not necessarily the client's truth.
