Guest guest
In checking out things related to pottery (my current passion), I came across this website. It's not directly health related. However, if you'll read it carefully, it becomes easier to understand how those of us who have had breast implants could develop a systemic yeast/fungus problem . . . and pass it onto a child. http://ceramic-materials.com/cermat/education/161.html What really baffles me is why the medical profession is not more concerned???? I would think this stuff would be a hot topic in medical school! Rogene
Guest guest
Thanks for the link, Rogene. As you know, pottery is also my passion. I've only been studying for about a year and a half. I'm making a bold move in May. I will be renting a booth at a small arts gathering in my hometown. We've never had an arts event, as we are a very small farming community. Our biggest celebration to date is COW DAYS, a small festival in which we celebrate the COWS in the county, our best cash crop-dairy farming. So, I'd be interested to share ideas and thoughts about pottery with you. I'm currently using a HIGHWATER Raku clay made in Asheville, NC. Do you do raku pottery? Guest guest
Hi J, No, I haven't gotten into Raku yet . . . although the school has one. I was in pottery 25-27 years ago, but got sidetracked. I got back into it last fall. As a senior, I can take a course at the local junior college, including all my glazes, equipment, and firing for $36 a sememster! . . . So, while I have a gas kiln for cone 10 firing available, I'm taking full advantage of it! . . . I'm on my way to school now ... so let's take this discussion private when you get home! . . . Best wishes and prayers for a good trip on your way back to good health! Hugs and prayers, Rogene >
