We're having a blast at Pune

Yeah! That terrible news is still breaking. A Bomb Blast occurred in the

Koregaon Park area of Pune.

This is a very upmarket place with lots of foreigners staying and working

there. German Bakery is a very popular eating joint and is patronised

especially by foreigners. The Jewish Chabad house is right next to it, and

in the near vicinity is the Osho Commune.

With nearly 10 dead and more than 50 injured, it seems to have been a big

blast.

My son usually goes there on some Saturday nights with his friends for a

dinner out. Today, fortunately, he didn't go. Hence we are all safe. But

thanks everyone who SMSed me asking if I was still breathing. I am! But a

bit carefully.
