I received a mailing yesterday from our county or town or some municipal office regarding the disposal of hazardous items. In lieu of a sharps disposal container, they suggest using an empty hard plastic detergent bottle (Tide, etc.) Just put the needles in the bottle and screw the cap back on before disposing in the trash.
