Hi Everyone,

We've been totally swamped, preparing for the FDA meeting on silicone breast implants, which will be held April 11-13.

Many wonderful women and wonderful group leaders will be testifying before the FDA. I'm pleased to say that quite a few impressive experts will also be there.

We can use your help with an e-letter campaign. We'd like you to send an email (already written) and ask interested friends to do so too. Here's our message:

STAND UP FOR THE TRUTH ABOUT RISKY SILICONE IMPLANTS

Congress and the FDA are under tremendous industry pressure to approve silicone breast implants, despite concerns about the health risks of leaking silicione. Help us make sure the FDA bases its decision about breast implants on scientific data, not industry pressure. Don't let the silicone implant companies mislead Congress and the FDA into approving silicone implants for general use.

The FDA doesn't usually get these emails, so every message really counts!
