Guest guest
Steve: 1. Regarding: " I'm not sure what you mean when you call the European Data " socialistic " . It is data. " Response: It is data, but generally from more socialistic countries. That was my intent of the words. Mea culpa for not being clear enough. 2. Regarding: " Your use of worker fatality data is changing the subject quite a bit from the topic of worker illness due to chemical injury. " Response: I disagree. Injuries, illnesses and fatalities are well-recognized measures of worker safety and health, which was my intent. 3. Regarding: " The GHS will use consistent criteria for classification and labeling on a global level " Response: Bad news, countries can interpret the guidelines as they wish, and are. It is in general getting more consistency. It is not enough. I tried to make this case (that GHS is more systematic) in a general way to others a couple weeks ago (those that deal with it every day for large chem. companies) and got slammed. 4. As for your claim that: " Countries with national health care systems have much better records of worker illness and a greater interest in saving health care costs borne by taxpayers. " Response: I'm still waiting for the data. Any data? Looking for some data here. Or just opinion again. Tony .......................................................................
