Guest guest
There are signs that are obvious - according to Dr. Vasey, a rheummy and implant disease specialist and Dr.Pierr Blais, capsular contracture is an early sign of implant infection.... I had this which led to many issues. Obviously, redness, soreness, etc. are very important signs also. They both have told me that CC- hardness of the implants is a sign of early infection. shari
Guest guest
There may be some obvious external signs . . . swelling, redness, discharge, or pain before explant, or visual signs during explant. However, sometimes it takes a pathologist, or doctor like Dr. Blais (who has examined thousands) to determine if there are pathogens in the implant or capsule.
