I will give you Dr. Ali's phone number but he doesn't prescribe it as a main treatment, he prescribes it to support the thyroid. You need to have those labs with you, as many as you can find. Dr. Ali 973-586-4111 located in Denville, NJ or NY/NY I don't want to be a bubble burster at all but Cheryl, 1/2 grain armour is historically TOO low of a dose to stay on. What happens is that this small amount will suppress your pituitary further, yet not provide enough thyroid hormone. What you can experience is a serious crash... You could end up feeling WAY worse than when you started if it is not increased soon. How long have you been on it? What are your lab results? All Docs like to start out slow with the thyroid meds but you have to remain proactive in keeping the ball rolling so that you are not undermedicated. This happend to me.. I crashed big time.
