Guest guest
I am in the same boat. So far my taste buds have not grown to liking fermented foods. I enjoy kombucha but only the kind with juice added from the co-op. Are there different ways to prepare the fermented foods? Are there ways to add it to other foods so not to have such a strong taste? How much should one eat a day to get the benefits?
Guest guest
I haven't consumed the yogurt, sour cream, or cream cheese yet. I have just recently gained access to raw milk so I am gradually working it into my nutrition as I have had an intolerance to dairy in the past. Seams I do a little better with the raw stuff but still not in large quantities. I will have to try some of the other cultured dairy products. I love yogurt but don't know if I would enjoy the homemade stuff as I didn't like the kefir I tried at the warehouse but I like the kefir at the co-op. I guess I was hoping to learn to like fermented veggies since I know they are so good for me and to learn how to use them in recipes.
