Hey Patty, How is everything going with you? The lymph drainage I wanted to try consisted of a pumping motion on the feet and then somewhere on the chest. I believe it was posted by Kacey. She said her doctor did it every time she saw him. I just can't remember exactly how it was done. I must have mistakenly deleted it. Anyway, I am going to do Hulda 's liver flush. Right now though I am battling bronchitis. I got so bad on Saturday I had to give in and go to Quack Care. So now I'm on antibiotics and my body is rebelling. I will do the liver flush as soon as I kick this and let you know how it goes. I admit I'm a coffee addict and really need to ween myself off of it. I guess I better start now if I'm going to do the flush. My son has an appointment with Dr. next Wednesday so we can start the IV's again. I spoke to him and he uses the right brands of glutathione and phosphotydlcholine. I'm tempted to have my son do the liver flush too but I'm afraid he will herx too badly. He is so sensitive that even things like salt and cinnamon give him a headache so I don't know if drinking the eqsom salts would sit well with him. Take care Patty. Love, Anita Re: lymph drainage and liver detox Hi Anita! You can get the same results from a mini-trampoline, or jumping rope. Have you thought about that? What kind of liver flush are you doing? If you do the full-bore flush, (1/2 cup olive oil and grapefruit juice, the epsom salts and all that), then you can have a fat free breakfast, light lunch, and then nothing to eat after 2 pm. I usually fast the whole day and don't eat anything at all. Soup with veggies would be okay, as long as you make the soup and know that there is no added fats or anything. Green juices would be okay. Now about that coffee, girlfriend, you really have to give that up!!! Can you wean yourself off of it? Yeah, you will go through some headaches to do it, it's called caffeine withdrawal...Sorry! But drinking coffee constricts the bile ducts and you sure don't want to do that when doing a liver flush! You want those bile ducts open as far as they will go! No coffee, no, no no.(At least through the mouth...a coffee enema is A-okay, but it is usually saved for the end to give an extra push to the clean-out.) Let me know if you try it.Hugs,Patty> I was just wondering if anyone saved the post from Kacey regarding lymph drainage. I think it was Kacey. It went something like pushing on the feet so many times and then on the chest. I would appreciate it if any one has this. Also, I have a question about foods that can be eaten when doing the liver flush. I know you have to be fat free but can you have coffee, green juices, soups with vegetables? Also, is there a limit as to how much you can eat? I think I would get the headache from hell if I couldn't have my coffee. Love, Anita

Hi, everyone.

Just a warning, if any of you have pancreatitits or gallbladder disease or symptoms, doing a flush can put you in the hospital or even kill you. If you have either of these two diseases, you do not want a rush of gallstones or sludge dumping out of your gallbladder, possibly blocking your liver and killing you. I asked my doctor about doing a flush because I had pancreatitis and he gave me a strong no way and explained the dangers.

If you decide to do the flush just be careful and watch for symptoms of a severe attack. If you have severe upper quadrant pain that doesn’t get better and doesn’t subside, get to the hospital immediately.

If you suspect you have gallstones or sludge, there are safe medications that will break them down without causing an attack. I ended up in the hospital 3 years ago with an unsuspected pancreatitis attack. All we can figure is that my liver was very clogged and finally dumped. Although I felt much better after the attack, the three days in the hospital with morphine was no fun at all.

Be careful, girls. :)

Hi Anita,

The prescription drug Urso was prescribed for me. It is basically bile salts and is very easy on the liver. Within a couple of months of taking it, all of my symptoms were gone. After what my gastroenterologist and ND told me about the liver cleanse, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Hi Kenda, I am not going to do the liver flush on my son because he is on a protocol which emphasizes clearing the liver and the bilary tree. It includes taking Ox bile along with phosphatydlcholine and other oils. The heart of the program is the phoschol and glutathione IV's. He is due to start the IV's this coming Wednesday. The other part of the protocol is healing the cell membrane using fatty acids. The premise is that when toxins become overwhelming to the body they hide in fatty cells including the liver and the brain. They break down the cell wall causing hypercoagulation of the blood. When my son had a live cell analysis he did not have one free floating cell. They were all jam packed together. It is called rouleau. The ND that we saw said his was the worst he has ever seen. He said "No wonder this kid can't think. He's not getting enough oxygen" What kind of liver flush did your Dr.s advise against. I know that lots of ladies on this group have used the liver flush with great success. In fact it seems to be a turning point in their healing. Tell me more. Hi,

It sounds like you are using the protocol that I have

the book on. Anyone can buy this book and read it

prior to findng a physician who uses it.

It is possible to use oral phosphatidylcholine and

increase glutathione levels using immunocal or

imu-plus and or alpha lipoic acoid and vitamin C.

I would love to know how your child does with this

treatment. Has anyone checked him for infections??

I am so sorry for your son, how old is he now?

I was advised against Hulda ’s flush, drinking concoctions and waiting for your system to clear. For some of us, it is extremely unsafe. It could have killed me.

GT, I guess you have a different book. I would love to know the name of it. My son is also on the oral Phosphatydlcholine. I think the IV's just speed things up. And yes he also had loads of bacteria in his blood on live cell analysis. It seems that one the immune system is off it sets the stage for all kinds of problems. love, Anita Re: Re: lymph drainage and> liver detox> > Hi Anita,> > The prescription drug Urso was prescribed for me. > It is basically bile salts and is very easy on the> liver. Hi Kathy,

I am very familiar with Hulda ’s method, I researched for hours and presented my doctor with her method. It’s like everything else in life, for some of us it is fine and might help us, for others, it can be bad or deadly.

I just want anyone doing this flush to be particularly aware of the potential for things to go bad. If severe upper quadrant pain develops, get to the ER immediately.

Kenda

-

Kenda

You do have to be careful, but the flush can really help with

gallbladder disease. Several people have prevented having their

gallbladders removed by doing these. You have to make sure you

soften the stones by drinking lots of apple juice. However, if you

know that you have large stones, then you are right, it can be more

of a problem, a stone could get stuck. I don't no anything about

pancreatitus so I will defer to you on that. If I knew I had stones

for sure, I would only do a flush in conjunction with a doctor

overseeing it. But most of us don't, and the liver flush is one of

the best things you can do to restore health and I wouldn't want to

discourage people on it. There is a wealth of info on the Hulda

liver flush on the www.curezone.com site and by s Moritz-

-he has his own site too. My brother in law just did a flush as he

was having gallbladder attacks and he passed 500 small stones. He

feels alot better and is planning another one soon. I didn't pass

many--I don't know though because I didnt catch them or anything--

but Isure felt a burst of energy and wellness for a few days. I am

definitely going to do another.

Kathy, We are seeing improvement such as he is not experiencing the constant dizziness. He has not had the IV's since we left Penn. in January. We will be starting them again with a local Dr. on Wednesday. That is the heart of the protocol along with rebuilding the damaged cell wall caused by toxins. Love, Anita Re: lymph drainage and liver detox AnitaI am wondering how your son is doing? Are you seeing any improvements? Is he reacting less? This is such a frustrating and complicated thing. Hi Anita,

I’m sure reactions to liver flushes aren’t extremely common but they do happen. If you know the warning signs and get to the hospital if they occur, I’m sure you’d be fine. You just don’t want to postpone getting to a hospital if you’re in severe pain. I’ve had a gallbladder/pacreatitis attack and they aren’t fun — worse than childbirth. :)

I’ve done all of my detoxing through herbs. How do you do it with an IV? Does an ND perform the procedure? What type of liquid is used in the IV?

Thank you!

Kenda

Kenda, The one I am talking about using is the phoschol-glutathione using a fast IV push. It seems to be very gentle. Of course it is more expensive than other types of liver cleanses but I chose this for my son because he tends to herx badly and this doesn't seem to cause that. Also, the protocol targets any deficiencies one might have which helps to balance a person out. Kathy, He did fine on the glutathione and he was having two per day. I asked Dr. Kane when I would know if he was well and she said when he stops getting the headaches. So we will see. I think you said you did a liver flush and felt good. Am I right? Do you feel like your health has taken a step up since then? Anita Re: lymph drainage and liver detox AnitaThat is good news. I am glad to hear he is making progress! Is he still herxing badly to everything? I still am.That is so frustrating. If this gets your son over the hump with the detox reactions, then I am defintiely going to give it a try. Does'nt gluthione produce a herx in him? When I tried Immunocal for a couple of months, the pain got intolerable. Did he handle the iv's ok?love, kathy> > > I was just wondering if anyone saved the post from Kacey > regarding > > lymph drainage. I think it was Kacey. The flush done with apple juice and OrhoPhos softens

stones too. . . I'll have to admit I was concerned

about blocking the bile duct initially.

I was taking part in a hyperbaric chamber study for

implant women the first time I did the liver flush. I

discussed it with the doctor overseeing the study. She

only asked that I keep notes on how I felt. This was

the biggest, quickest detox I had done at the time.

www.curezone.com has an extensive Q & A section that

anyone considering a liver flush should read carefully

before doing one! Fasting prior to the flush allows

the bile pressure to build up to facilitate the flush.

As I understand it, the man who developed the

OrthoPhos liver flush cured himself of liver cancer by

developing this flush.

I've done a number of the flushes with varying degrees

of success. Sometimes, nothing happens! But, when it

does, I feel sooooo good afterwards . . .

Hugs,

Rogene

Kathy, Just my opinion but I wonder if you both herx so badly because your livers are that much more toxic. I think if I were you I would try to continue with the liver flushes too. It's funny when Dr. gave my son Natto he herxed so badly I took him off it. He doesn't seem to herx from the things Dr. Kane has him on or the IV's though. I don't know if I mentioned she also has him on a high fat diet. I drive myself crazy overthinking all this stuff. Love, Anita Re: lymph drainage and liver detox> > > > > > Anita> That is good news. Hi Kathy,

My doc told me when I first started detoxing if my symptoms worsened, to back off a bit because I was so toxic. What is Natto?

Kenda

Kathy,
