Hi everyone,

If anyone has read any of my posts you might remember that I am still

not feeling very well since explantation 2 and a half years ago. So,

I recently made a trip to see Dr. Kolb. I only wish she had been my

explant doctor. She is honest to the point and has a sincere concern

for her patient and I believe humanity in general. She can relate to

what we are all going through on the deepest level. She is even

concerned about the fact that many of her patients do not have alot of

financial resources so tries to figure out inexpensive ways to help

them recover. She is , in fact, still studying this problem to figure

out new ways to help others.

I am disturbed by what I think was hidden from me by my explant doc.

This is a whole other story and I will expand on this later.

Dr. Kolb prescribed several things that she thought would help me

with the peripheral neuropathy and dizziness that make everyday living

a struggle. I will keep you posted with my recovery progress.

I also found out that she takes something like $100 non-refundable for

a surgery deposit while other docs ask $1500. This says alot about a

person.

She knows what we suffer, that we are in dire need of help, and tries

not to give us a financial burden along with our other problems. She

does not think any of our symptoms are " in our heads " .

Additionally ladies, you must be careful and not assume that surgeons

advertising they are hand/microsurgeons or eye specialists can do

better explant surgery or breast lifts. Microsurgery has nothing to

do with breast surgery. Microsurgery is putting together very small

vessels and hand surgery--not breasts.

I sincerely believe that if I had not experienced what I have I would

not be able to understand a person going through this illness.

Perhaps I would not believe them either. I could not even believe it

was happening to me. I would think that if a surgeon had experienced

this problem they would make every effort to get all the capsule out

and not break the implant sac.

Anyway I need to get some sleep,

Godbless,

GT
