As I understand it, the way Google provides

information for a search is based on how many people

search for and use the site. I don't think they are

paid for standard searches. . . Apparently

organizations can pay to be a sponsor and be listed at

the top of the page, but I'm sure that adds up to a

considerable amount of money!

Since most of our messages are done on the mail list,

I don't believe that counts the same way as it would

if we accessed the group on the web. Maybe if we each

clicked on the first link at the bottom of the page on

a regular basis, we would move up the list!
