Guest guest
I never knew the difference between orthapedic and neurosurgeon till lately, but its too late now. I had an orthapedic surgeon do all 3 of my back surgeries and it still hurts terribly. I'm not saying he's bad or anything, he just has no idea why I'm still hurting and was starting to act as if the pain was all in my head. Technically... it is, lol cause the pain signals are being sent there but the pain is real and I can't stand it. I black out sometimes cause its so intense. I've been referred to a neurosurgeon now but I can't and won't get cut again. Maybe at least he can do something to help me deal with the pain. Guest guest
Hello group, For my fusions I had 2 doctors. A Neuro and a Ortho. They both have their own specialities which come into play for fusions. For my lamenectomies and disc relate surgeries it has always been a Neurosurgeon, after all they are dealing with your central nervous system when doing spinal surgery. Kathleen in Calif.
