mosiac down syndrome. She is the pride and joy of our family. I'd

love to talk to other parents with children like ys. When I was

informed of Lexy's diagnosis I didn't even strike me as a different

type of down syndrome. The geneticist didn't really talk about it

much and I didn't know anything so I didn't ask any questions. A

few months later (lexy was about 6 months old) I got out the

geneticist report. I started reading over it and saw the word

mosiac. I decided to see what it meant and found that there wasn't

much info on it. When I say something to the Dr they kind of just

agree with me that she has this type but they don't go into anything

else. I belong to other messge boards on Ds and I am looking

forward to also communicating with others who have childrn/family

that have mosiac down syndrome too. Maybe I will start learning

more about this type and that would be wonderful for me and my

husband. Thank you!! "
