My name is and my daughter ys (19 months) has mosiac down syndrome. She is the pride and joy of our family. I'd love to talk to other parents with children like ys. When I was informed of Lexy's diagnosis I didn't even strike me as a different type of down syndrome. The geneticist didn't really talk about it much and I didn't know anything so I didn't ask any questions. A few months later (lexy was about 6 months old) I got out the geneticist report. I started reading over it and saw the word mosiac. I decided to see what it meant and found that there wasn't much info on it. When I say something to the Dr they kind of just agree with me that she has this type but they don't go into anything else. I belong to other messge boards on Ds and I am looking forward to also communicating with others who have childrn/family that have mosiac down syndrome too. Maybe I will start learning more about this type and that would be wonderful for me and my husband. Thank you!! "
