If you are interested in making your own soap and lotions, there is a great group called 1natural. The owner’s website is snowdriftfarm.com. Snowdrift carries all kinds of oils and products for soap and toiletry making. I make soap and toiletries and it isn’t that difficult for anyone who can read a recipe. I also make body balms, which are different oils mixed together in a balm, instead of a liquid. There are many recipes on the Snowdrift site. The great thing is if you make it, you know exactly what’s in it.

Snowdrift also carries some products that are less than natural and I wouldn’t use, but they aren’t necessary unless you are going to sell products and need the extra microbial protection.
