Guest guest
Probably a combo... I have a massive candida (yeast) inf. from all the antibiotics as well as all the mold, etc., leaking out of my implants. It took quite a while to get it under control.... Eat lots of raw garlic if you can. shari
Guest guest
Jen, I agree . . . see if eating raw, crushed garlic (as many as 12 cloves a day - but start with one) doesn't help. Other than making your stomach feel as though there is a battle going on (and that's good), it won't hurt. Guest guest
Hi Jen, Another thing you can do is take a garlic clove and score it and place it in your vagina before bedtime and leave it there overnight. Do this several times and it can help. Kenda Jen, I agree . . . see if eating raw, crushed garlic (as many as 12 cloves a day - but start with one) doesn't help. Guest guest
- Jen It could be low level yeast. I have had problems with this off and on for years. I eventually realized that yeast--it didn't look like a yeast infection--it was a barely noticable whitish discharge, was probably getting around the urethral area and was causing symptoms like irritation to the urethrua, some urinary stinging or not completely feeling like the bladder was empty after urinating and some vaginal irritation. What really helped me was two things: first cutting out high oxalate foods--such as chocolate, pepper, yams, etc, and secondly, using oral nystatin as a douche. I used if whenever the symptoms seemed to build up. You use 1 tsp in a quart of warm water. YOu can use as often as necessary. That kept the problem under control. In every instance, the urethral irritation disappeared when I used the douche so I know that my thinking that this slightly whitish thin discharge was yeast was correct. Hope this helps. Also, I notice that whenever I take things that kill off yeast, this actually gets worse. Doesn't make sense, but it does--I was thinking that it must be sort of like a herx in some way.
