Guest guest
Look at the info closely. It is a press release of someone wanting to market their product to the real estate agency. However, the real estate industry has gotten a bit smarter over the past few years. By and large, they now are smart enough to know what they don't know and have no business giving advice over. Just like any smart real estate agent would not give advice of how to repair a structural crack in the foundation, they no longer give flippant advice of how to deal with mold. I would be inclined to think this PR release was probably a huge waste of money. The real estate agents and their brokers are now trained not to get sucked into the liability of this issue. Sharon A sure-fire way to INCREASE the occupants exposure to mold is to kill it without also removing all traces by washing and rinsing well enough. It is a sign of a poor understanding of mold exposure and health effects when people want to kill mold and fail to: a) remove all traces, especially the small bits and pieces of the spores and dead colony; identify, then permanently solve the moisture problems that caused the mold growth in the first place. So many incompetently-educated persons (personal and corporate) and so many opportunities to make things even worse. Jim H. What is an effective, non toxic solution to remedy the problem? Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 12, 2010 -- Certain people have minor allergic reactions to non-toxic mold, and once they leave the affected area they most likely recover with few serious side effects. However, if they have been exposed to the dangerous molds such as Stachybotrys or Chaetomium, they could suffer from a myriad of serious symptoms and illnesses such as chronic bronchitis, learning disabilities, mental deficiencies, heart problems, cancer, multiple sclerosis, chronic fatigue, lupus, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple chemical sensitivity, bleeding lungs and much more. Until now mold remediation was most often temporary, lengthy and costly, involving extensive demolition and the use of products toxic for people and the environment. Fortunately this is no longer the case. Decongreen inc., a company based in California, has developed a protocol to kill mold using a non-toxic, EPA registered formulation. The solution kills mold, viruses, bacteria, fungi on contact. It is a total indoor air quality management system using a unique green technology. Even if demolition is necessary, the extent of it is dramatically reduced by the efficacy of the product, saving time and money. The process is short and so effective that the company offers up to 5-year warranty on all treated areas. This warranty is transferable to the next owner of the property. As a Realtor to be able to offer the latest green technology on the market is important in many ways; your clients will appreciate your input and trust your judgment. The realty business is on the list of the biggest creator of carbon footprint, taking a step forward to a solution has just become easier. Guest guest
Just a FYI, I found the Decon Green mentioned in an EPA document with ingredients listed as (H2O2, carbonates, molybdenum, surfactant). Not able to find any FIFRA Registration # or info on formulation.
