Your doctor is wrong. He is spouting the line that they decided on way

back in 1992 in a meeting in Vegas.

I would go to someone on the list we have on this site.

Lo,

I'm a little confused by the words you're using.

What the doctor SHOULD do is to cut around the capsule

that contains the implant, and removed the entire

thing in one piece - " en bloc " .

The implant itself has a shell. If it's a saline

implant, the doctor may insert a needle and remove the

saline solution before cutting around the capsule.

Slicing open the capsule to remove the implant before

removing the capsule risks spilling the contents into

your chest cavity. Depending on what's in the implant,

this could make you very sick!

If your doctor intends on leaving the capsule behind

(sometimes this cannot be avoided), he's the wrong

doctor! . . . There are occasions when a doctor simply

cannot remove the entire capsule without risking

extensive bleeding, etc. . . But, if at all possible

everything should be removed and drains put in.

The implant sloughs off particles that may be

contained in the capsule. Same way with fungus or

bacteria that may be growing, not just in the implant,

but on it. You want ALL that removed, if at all

possible.

Simply leaving gunk behind, and giving antibiotics

isn't going to cut it! . . . If that was the case,

they could give you antibiotics right now, and the

bacteria would be gone.

Actually what the antibiotics do is to kill off

beneficial bacteria, along with the bad guys. . . And

because the bad guys are more stubborn, they overgrow

and keep the good bacteria from rebuilding.

That's why we recommend probiotics (the good guys).

Most women who've had implants have a systemic

candida/yeast/fungus problem. That's why we recommend

that you eliminate sugar and refined grains from your

diet. That's what the bad guys feed on!

Does this help? . . . I think we have a paper from one

of the doctors who explains in medical language what's

going on.

Hugs and prayers,

Rogene
