Has anyone else heard of or seen this movie or know if it is just a TV movie or available in DVD or tape? It aired on Long Island here on " WE " (women's entertainment) - just happened to catch my eye while channel surfing. As a single male parent of an autistic female there were a lot of things that really struck home. In parts similar to Rain Man - a single brother takes his 28 year old sister from a home because it is losing federal funding and has to close. He didn't know exactly what he was in for, but discovers the true person behind the barriors and opts for some experimental procedure that seemed like a stem cell implant. In some moments of crystal clarity she is able to express how she views the world and her feelings toward others. Some parts are a little fuzzy because I was fighting to stay awake and now regret being so lazy as to not get up and get a blank tape to record the movie!
