Hi ,

Thanks in responding so kindly. I am a very outspoken person.

I do not sugar coat anything. I feel that if I have an opinion on

something I have a right to express it!

I understand that not everyone feels the way that I do but I have

been through so much and I'm very bitter. Sex sells yes, I agree

with that but so does blood and gore. I just think that instead of

showing a woman getting implants and everything else done, it

might have been better to show an explant. Follow a woman

through the explant procedure and document the pain, loss of

independence and for some of us maybe the loss of life or close

to the loss of life.

I feel so strongly about all of this. The only reason that a TV

program wouldn't want to tell our 'real' stories is because the

plastic surgeons would be up in arms. Do I care if they start

losing money? NO! Do I care if someone sees a show that

scares them enough that they would never have implants? YES!

All of this is about money. We are all fighting for the same thing.

That is for our stories to be told. To take a sick woman 11 hours out of her day to give her 3 minutes of air time benefits who? Do you really think that a story can be told in 3 minutes?

I'm sure that many people will not like what I have to

say but this is my personality. I will be getting my story out whether it be through TV or in another way. I have been through

hell. Hell like nobody should EVER have to endure. I'm sure that many others in this group have been through worse.

So , I thank you for showing support for my opinion as it

isn't the opinion of the majority.

I hope this posting doesn't sound too negative because I didn't

mean it to be that way. I just feel I have a right to MY opinion.

Thanks,

I agree with Beth. That is one of the reasons I chose not to do MTV. I didnt think the air time is not fair to say the least. Here we are going through all this madness, sickness, getting the implants out, ect, to spend three to four days telling our story , being followed by camera's at home and atwork, which can be quite stressful, only to have 5 min shown. And how is it being shown?

I agree PAtty, its good they show something, it realy is, the interest is there- it may be starting something, which is great news ! But it disapointing to say the least. Our full story has yet to be told in proper length. Im sorry, wanted to add my comments after hearing that Beth feels alone in this. Beth, Im right there with you. Love

Beth, you do have a right your opinion. We all do. Thats why support groups are so good. We can all air our feelings, cast a different shadow. First of all, I want to say I realy appreciate all the explant girls that have spent time to get their time to our cause out. Their work and energy, and stories are all outstanding. I also appreciate we are somewhat acknowlegded by certain producers, stories and tv shows. But like you, I am also dissapointed that the girls stories aren't shed more light. The explant surgeries are costly, time consuming, and painfuls, the scars are there, the fear, the drains are a pain, the self esteem as you are losing the implants, the confusion about what will I look like, the meds we take, the daily fatigue, the detox programs we follow. It never ends to no avail! It needs to be fairly shown. Maybe MTv needs to hear that by many of us and others. To be asked, what are explants like? Could you air one? Are they disfigured without implants? How costly is it to get them out? Do another show and get these needed answers for all the women that do not know what they are getting into. I know Beth how you are feeling, I feel the same way.Im going to email MTV and ask that they show more of this stuff. Love jUlie
