In talking to my pain management doctor, he says many orthopedic doctors dont acknowledge some of the other sources of pain. Soft tissue damage, scar tissue, and other things can not be picked up on MRIs or CT scans. So unless you see someone who specializes in these types of pain, and perhaps make adjustments in myofascial areas, you dont get relief. As of the 1st of the month, I have to drop my insurance because we cant afford it anymore. All I will have left is Medicare through social security. I will have to greatly reduce any doctor visits, as it only covers 80%, and doesn't cover any prescriptions. I just wanted to say, the pain isn't all in your head! We had a long chat at my last visit with him, when he concluded there wasn't any point in doing more surgery. You wrote: >I just wanted to say, the pain isn't all in your head! I had to laugh when I read that since it is soooo true - the pain is very real - and it's all in my neck LOL! Take care, Stark
