Guest guest
Dearest Patty: Thank you for writing to us. I have been sick and missed your support. You have done so much for so many women. Please just enjoy each day and spend time with your family. This is your time to enjoy life. Let us take over some of the support that you were giving. We all have our own opinions and they should be respected. Sending much love....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~``Here we come, thank you Lynda for finding out who caused the trouble this morning. You would make a good detective...Me I just wanted to respond.... Hi to everyone here! (And welcome to the new ladies!) I am enjoying my break very much....it is definitely very much needed! I have had wonderful days with my parents here in town and am preparing for a visit from my sister as well later this week. I still have alot on my plate and can't spend time with you all as I would love to do. I am only writing today to respond to the person "Ruthie" who claims to know me and has seen me up close. I think it is pretty apparent that this is someone who has been on the group in the past and who has decided to be disruptive and divisive, which is a shame because we are all about being supportive and encouraging. When started her own group, I told her that I wished her well, and I do. But I don't think it is fair to keep nitpicking at this group because our ideas don't jive. As we all know, we are free to make our own decisions about our health care, and many of us have found that taking care of our bodies through detoxification is a blessing and path to renewed health. There is not a single thing wrong with this. If they want to do things their way, then may they be blessed as they go! But I do wish they would leave us alone. I find the timing of this message from "Ruthie" (not her real name) so funny because just this morning, I sent a picture to some of my friends, taken only a few days ago at the Flamingo hotel here in Las Vegas. My parents love to go to buffets, when they visit, which is once a year.--hey this is Vegas! There are lots of buffets! This picture, which I will share with all of you, was taken right after we ate the breakfast buffet. It is my mom and me. Obviously, "Ruthie" enjoys twisting the truth about my buffet eating and supposed starvation diets followed by coffee enemas. That's bologna. Why anyone would want to believe ugly gossip is beyond me. We don't socialize much because we work very hard at our businesses. We eat a healthy diet for the most part, but we do celebrate life too, and when we do eat things that we regret later, we work hard to get back on track. Nobody is perfect, (she got that part right!) and I am definitely no different from anyone else. But we have dedicated ourselves to living and eating a healthy diet. We LOVE Dr. Jordan Rubin's books and his principles for eating God's way! I think Dr. Jordan Rubin has an amazing story, and we certainly agree with everything he says. That's the way we aim to live. And since I have Hashimoto's, I do struggle with those last 10-15 lbs. I have struggled with those same pounds over and over for a couple years. I lose them and gain them back! But starvation diets are not my thing...fasting and healthy eating is. I am just a pretty normal person, who happens to believe that God's way is the best way. I think it is sad when some people feel they need to put down others...I hope that all of you will be able to see through the tricks that some people play, and realize that sometimes you just can't please people no matter what you do. They are best left alone....and sometimes it is best just to move on and not respond to them. So, in any case, I hope that answers some of the questions about "the truth", at least as far as I am concerned! I pray for you guys often, and I do wish all of you a journey of healing that is filled with love, hope, optimism, and most of all, faith in the One who gives life and who can take it away. Our God is an awesome God. May you all be blessed today! Love, Patty __________________________________________________
