Guest guest
, Don't be embarrased about having scabies. Anybody can get them. You can get them from animals or from dirt. My daughter had them a few years ago and she went through hell also. She went to so many doctors and they all told her she had really bad ecsema and put her on steroids and it didn't help. She thought she was dying of some wierd disease and finally after 6 months of torture a dermatologist looked under a microscope and saw the parasite and within a week (with the medication) she was cleared up. I was sooo mad at all those other doctors for not even taking a scraping and looking under the microscope. Scabies is no big deal and they will be completely gone soon. So glad to hear it is that and not Lupus. Love Judi
Guest guest
Thank you Judi, I've been feeling pretty isolated and not wanting to infect anyone. Besides all the cleanina and itching I'm doing fine. I've had symptoms since Jan. 21st, it took them that long to find out. I've known for only 1 week now, so it would have been nearly 2 months. I can't wait until they are gone. They gave me stromectol which is an oral medication. I am repeating it today. This will be my second treatment. Its less toxic than putting pyrethrin 5 % cream all over your body, head to foot and leaving on 12 hours. So I'm ok with it. Itcing can still be intense for 4 to 6 weeks as you are still allergic to the dieing organism and feces etc. Fun fun, other than that I'm grateful to God I can be in the sun! and not allergic to all my vitamins! God Bless, Thanks again for your compassionate response. I really thought I was dieing going to ER allergic to penicillin, etc. it was a mess. I was allergic to the antibiotics though, again missdiagnosed and given anti...Too many of those mistakes by drs. ..Blah blah blah... > , > > Don't be embarrased about having scabies. Guest guest
, I hope you'll call those doctors who didn't treat you right and tell them what the smart doctor found! . . . Maybe they won't treat the next person that way! Love, Rogene
