Guest guest
<< I've been fighting workers compensation, they haven't paid me in a year. Their attorney said that I did not want to work. That was untrue they just never offered me anything that I could do. I'm an RN but I can't lift so that eliminated a lot of jobs. Now they have me working 4 hours typing in preference cards: information about equipment to get for surgeries. I've worked two days and I think it will be OK. So far I haven't been paid so I can't wait to see what they will do. they owe me a lot of $$$. >> I hear you! I was an RN on workers comp, and they tried me on everything from Drs. office to being charge nurse on busy medical unit (mostly in seated position doing charts), and I was unable to do any of it. I also did the 4 hour shifts, but for every fair to good day I had, I would have 3 bad days They have ya over a barrel. I finally settled with workers comp, as my financial situation was so severe. My advice though, is to fight it, and hold out for a good amount. After all, it's your life, and chances are, you will not work again, and you can never go back and make any other claims against them once the case is settled. Best of luck to you.
