Guest guest
Hi Beth, I never was officially tested for it in the sense that I got back any test results on paper that pointed to it. My homeopathic doctor did some kind of in-office test, and then told me I had evidence of mycobacterial toxins, and gave me a homeopathic preparation for it. I still have that homeopathic in my cupboard. I just couldn't bring myself to take it for some reason. I might still! I just generally went on the assumption that my body probably had things in it that shouldn't be there (parasites, viruses, fungus, bacteria) from my implant nightmare, and I took various steps to try to attack those issues. Things like ozone therapy (ear insufflations, ozone sauna, vaginal insufflations, enemas), parasite cleanse, lots and lots of raw garlic, various other supplements that were antifungal, antibacterial, anti-viral, such as caprylic acid, oil of oregano, grapefruit seed extract, olive leaf extract, aloe vera, coconut oil, mushrooms. I researched and researched as much as I could and did what I could afford and what I was comfortable with. I was never much comfortable with drugs, as you all know. Maybe it took me longer, but I have no complaints! At least nothing that I regret other than getting the blasted implants in the first place. But then, where would I have learned all this valuable info and met all of you kind ladies? There's always a way to make lemonade out of lemons! Guest guest
Patty my Dr.says that micoplasm are in everyone. I did not push for it either. I just think that I will be like you and try things my self. I can not afford the homeopathic Dr. right now. Maybe when I get back to work. I read somewhere that garlic in powder form is the best, it was in allternative medicine magazine. I still have the article and the magazine if anyone is interested in what it says. Do you read that magazine? I want to get a subscription. I can not recall the entire article but that was what it said. I think it is in relation to heart conditions though. I think that some people heal faster than others, from my research because of how much they do physcially as well as nutrition. I want to do both things thanks to this site I am learning. Patty do you think that you do enough exercise and that your nutrition was good enough in the beginning? I am wanting to know more about those that healed faster than others, if they did more exercise, or if they did a special diet not just suplements. I am a firm believer that eating right is very important. Guest guest
Annie I just wanted to add a little info about mycoplasma. First, not everyone has mycoplasma. And of those who do, most are not considered to be fairly benign. There are only a few that are associated with autoimmune illness. The kinds associated heavily with autoimmune illness are fermantans, hominus, pneumonis. Especially fermantans which was apparently a military germ warfare alternation of a regular mycoplasma. I was diagnosed by a reputable source--The arthritis Institute in land. I have both fermantans and hominus. I was diagnosed by my doctor with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease with mainly lupus features. Guess what---hominus is very strongly associated with lupus. Of course there are people out there with mycoplasma that aren't sick. The same as for epstein barr virus , strep, etc. There are people who have had epstein barr and seem perfectly healthy, yet others have chronic fatigue syndrome and it is even directly related to some forms of cancer in children. The point is that having a particular pathogen isn't the whole story. MOre important is how many other pathogens you have, how strong your body's immune system is, your stress level, whether you have any detoxification pathway deficits and countless other things. In fact, I just read an article today talking about the people who got Gulf War Syndrome were missing (or had a reduced amount of) an important enzyme for detoxification. The author stated that those equally exposed to sarin gas that didn't get sick had much higher levels of this enzyme. So the doctor that said that everyone has mycoplasma and that isn't important doesn't know what he talking about. I find that the case with most doctors. They " hear " someone else say something and don't have the interest or the time to research it for themselves. I will can tell you that that antibiotic therapy that was predicated on the mycoplasma theory of infection works and works well! Somewhere between 66% and 85% will experience real improvement on it!! And there have been double blind studies done that bear it out. As far as I know, it is the only real therapy out there that wiil give most people with the horrific scleroderma a chance at remission. There are many ways to kill mycoplasma other than the antibiotic therapy though it is certainly the best researched and studied. OLive leaf extract, immunocal and oil of oregano can work against mycoplasma also. Anything that helps your body's defenses get stronger will help it defend against mycoplasma. Antibiotic therapy turned some really terrible symptoms around for me very quickly. I am not currently on it, but I wouldn't hesitate for a second to go back on it if my scleroderma symptoms would return in earnest. It is nice to know it is there if I should need it again. It is being tested on multiple sclerosis, als, and other diseases that were never thought to have mycoplasmal or bacterial causes. I think ultimately we will find all illness is caused by these and other pathogens gaining a stronghold in our bodies. This is where we can help ourselves immensely by reducing our toxic exposures, detoxing, and putting into our bodies the things it needs to compensate for its deficits! It is my opinion that if someone gives all the natural detox methods a try and doesn't experience any improvement, then antibiotic therapy is a very worthwhile thing to try next. And if I was diagnosed with scleroderma, lupus, or fast progressing Rheumatoid arthritis, I wouldn't hesitate to try it to begin with. There are just too many people out there who have had great results and I know many of them. hugs kathy Hugs, kathy > > > > Patty, > > > > Didn't you have a mycoplasma infection?
