There are 2 books I have been reading lately that I would really like to

recommend based on topics of recent posts:

The Grief Recovery Handbook: The Action Program for Moving Beyond Death,

Divorce, and Other Losses by W. and Friedman c1998

I have not finished this book yet, but so far it seems very helpful in terms

of dealing with losses, deaths, ended relationships - good and bad, health

losses, and basically any kind of losses. It is a fairly small paperback

book and quick reading.

Finding Your Own North Star: claiming the life you were meant to live by

Martha Beck

I have found myself picking up this paperback book when I am feeling down or

discouraged. So far, I usually just open it to any page in the book and

start reading. Before too long I am feeling better. I'd probably get even

more out of it if I read it from cover to cover. I hope to do that soon. It

seems to have lots of creative ideas in it and different ways of looking at

things. It helps me feel empowered and like there are things I can do to

make my life better.

Hope these help those of you that are interested. I think a lot of libraries

have them and they are each under $15 at bookstores. Take care.
