Dear Marie,

Please don't give up hope.

I have always had hair loss I have been explanted nearly seven years, it still continues BUT I have all this fine baby hair coming through, that must be a good sign. I have also lost most of my pubic hair, do you have this problem?

What I would say is I have not got any bald patches even though my hair is thinner, I don't know if your hair was already thin but if not try not to worry to much, I am the only one who can notice mine. It may take a while to grow back but mine defiantly is, so keep strong Marie.

Are you dettoxing and eating well? my philosophy is plenty of dark green veggies.

Hope this helps

Sue.

Dear Marie,

Sorry to hear things are so bad, its bad enough for me falling out slowly let alone fast.

I cannot suggest anything else, only the sauna as its supposed to help the immune system.

I have only had mine a week so its early days.

How long have you been explanted ?......sorry but I have a terrible memory. Maybe things will improve in time, I think we all heal differently at different times and some things improve in others but not in some. I hope this will stop for you, maybe Rogene can help, she's brilliant.

Takecare

Hello Everyone,

I am beginning to lose hope that my hair will ever stop falling out. Last night I was on the message board for "Hair loss with implants". No one seems to have any answers. The ones that did have something to say, was that they had them taken out and still had the hair loss.

I also went to picks and saw a women 10yrs past explant and 20 yrs past explant with such severe hair loss.

I will see an internist on Monday, but I just feel like so many women have not beaten the hair loss issue and implants.

I'm sorry to be so negative, I guess I am on the verge of depression and don't want to enter it!

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Marie

Marie,

Please don't get discouraged yet . . .

There are women here whose hair has regrown! . . .

There are a number of options to try. In all the years

I've been involved in breast implant support, this is

the ONLY group where women are getting better on a

regular basis. We may not be conventional, but we have

found a number of successful programs.

Regardless, it will take several months after you find

what works to begin seeing the results. . . I'm

convinced that, once you do get your body back to a

healthy condition, your hair will follow suit.

And remember stress can also cause hair loss . . .

Please find a way to manage it so it doesn't make you

sick!

God Bless,

Rogene

Sue,

Thanks for the pick me up. No I don't have a problem with the pubic hair. My only problem is on top of my head. It's not like it is slowly falling out and thinning. It is dropping out in tons! If it was slow, it would not be so bad. If it continues at this rate, I will be bald in less than a year! I am taking a multi vitamin, omega 3 and vitamin B-12 with folic acid and B-6. I am drinking tons of water and am trying to eat just a balanced diet.

I just think it triggered something in my system and it might not ever go back to normal.

Thanks for writing,

Marie

Don't give up hope and get depressed. I know there was a woman on

this site named teresa who had hair loss and I think she eventually

got hers to slow down quite a bit. It seems that carrie had some

hair loss too and hers stopped. I have used some shampoo that

Ireally like that says it is for hair loss and thinning. I don't

have that but used it because it is organic and detoxifying. It is

by MOroccan Method and you can buy it from www.celticseasalt.com.

Look under beauty products. It is worth a try because it is

certainly healthy for you. I have also read that biotin is good for

hair loss. I think the best thing to do is to keep going forward

with detoxing and getting your body in the best health it can be.

Did you say that you had your thyroid checked? Did you do a google

search on hair loss causes/treatments? I wish I could be of more

help. Have you had your other hormones checked by saliva testing?

One thing for sure is that stress will definitely exaberate the hair

loss. Try to destress as hard as that is. I am thinking of you.

hugs

Hi ,

I just sent over the trouble shooting e-mail. I also sent you all of the posts regarding using higher dosages temporarily to get out of exasperations. Also, have you tried B1 supplements for strength. It works for some. I suspect it works for those low in vit. B1.

Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you

Aletha

[low dose naltrexone] LOSING HOPE

Hello friends,I am losing hope of the LDN helping me. My doc wants me to try Tysabri, and I just might. I've read your emails to people who have tried it or thinking about trying it, so I know how you feel. I'm scared too, but there are alot of good reviews on wwwrevolutinhealth.com - just like good reviews of LDN.I've been on LDN 8 months with no improvement - only a decline of symptoms, so I think I need to take off the rose-colored glasses and see where I'm going. LDN is easy to take, and I LOVE that, and the uncomfortable symptoms are tolerable, but I have gone from using a cane to needing a walker. I think this group is wonderful, so if you have any final comments, before I really make my decision, I will listen and consider them. If I go on Tysabri, I'll let you know. Thanks,

Have you had your yeast level checked or had yourself checked for

lyme? I'd certainly have these tested for before I embarked on such a

harsh treatment. Don't waste your time getting the traditional ELISA

and Western Blot most docs order, these tests give too many false

negative results. Of course, no test out there is a 100% on detecting

lyme disease but the ones listed below are better.

You can get both yeast and lyme detected via a live blood analysis

with a Bradford Variable Projection Microscope. Chiropractors tend to

have these scopes.

IGeneX Lab, Fry Lab in AZ, Central Florida Lab(was Bowen) are good to

get tested for lyme. You might try to find a Lyme Literate doctor to

examine you and run tests. You can have a stool test done to check

for candida yeast.

Maybe some of the lyme sufferers here can guide you if you want to

persue getting yourself checked.
