Thanks, !

I have had neuropathy in both feet, joint stiffness in my legs...terrible rashes on my legs and considerable "brain fog" resolved after explantation on Jan 19 this year...How would I be tested...who orders the test?

Jeanne,

The test for Peripheral neuropathy involves sticking

needles in your foot, and knee area, then putting an

electronic charge on one . ..

They measure how long it takes for the signal to go

from one point to the other. . . with neuropathy, it

takes longer than normal. The test is quite painful,

but only momentarily.

My massage therapist really works my feet over,

rubbing, then flexing my feet. Hurts like crazy, but,

if I need it, it helps a lot! . . . Also deep massage

therapy releases the membrane that covers the surface

of the muscle (facia). That hurts too, but only for an

instant, then the relief lasts for weeks. This is one

symptom of Fibromyalgia.

Taking Magnesium supplements (two parts Calcium to one

part Magnesium) helps with muscle pain, as well as

with sleeping (that's critical to muscle health too).

Magnesium provides bone strenth while Calcium provides

bone density. . . 20% of the body's Magnesium is in

the muscles. A deficiency in Magnesium can lead to

muscle problems.

Check this website:

Dr. Mannsman has information prepared for physicians

that you can take to your doctor.

I was having a terrible time with my feet as little as

a year ago. When I took Dr. Mannsman info to my

primary care doc, she recommended a naturopath. . .

The naturopath recommended several homeopathic

remedies to balance the acidity/alkalinity of my body,

plus a number of supplements (mostly Garden of Life).

I had some peripheral neuropathy, but not enough to

justify the kind of burning pain I was having in my

feet.

The improvement in my energy, pain, and mobility has

been incredible! I also use my infrared sauna

regularly. I've gone from barely active to being on

the go all the time.Since beginning treatment, my feet

have gone from being semi-numb to being ticklish!

First time in many years!

I'm not sure these problems were caused by my

implants. However, I do think they were made much

worse by the medications I took for issues related to

my implants.

I hope you can find something to help! It does take

time, patience and discipline! . . . The results are

well worth the effort though.

Hugs and prayers,

Rogene

la,

With pinprick testing . . . I felt nothing but

pressure. . .

When I tried acupuncture, the therapist couldn't

believe she could stick my toes full of needles

without a flinch!

One test for this is a monofiliament test . . . They

use a plastic thread . . . like a fishing line and

stroke your foot to see if you can feel it. I could

feel some on the tops of my feet, but not the bottom.

One morning, after my hubby left for work, I stretched

and felt someone in bed with me. Needless to say, I

was startled for a moment . . . It turned out to be my

other leg!

My daughter (an occupational therapist) tells me that

infrared treatment has been shown by clinical studies

to improve peripheral neuropathy. They are using it on

Alzehimer's patients where she works. . . You don't

get placebo effects with them!!!

They use infrared pads, rather than saunas. These can

be bought online too.

Hugs,

Rogene

la,

I'm sure you'll enjoy having your own sauna . . .

Soooo many advantages of having one at home, beside

the cost!

Have you read the information from the manufacturer's?

Very impressive!

Hugs,

Rogene
