Until it is brought to light and publically talked about, I'm left wondering what is true, not true... I do think that Kerry conceded way too early... I also think that this win more than a Kerry win has given me a true test of just how peaceful I think I am. Note to Isabel - Thank you for sending me your Bush worksheet offline. I was moved by your work and could not believe how similar we are in thought. However, I find that I get a feel for this statement ... the work is to lull me into a pacifictic place of non-action. I'm not finding that true for me. I find my work on Bush clarifying MY values and becoming increasingly moved to truly live them. But I also notice that I am articulate and well-read. When I meet someone who endorses Bush, I can lull them into areas of agreement and then use superb debating skills to completely annihilate them. I use their eyes like one would use a slot machine. Ba ching - That was triple cherry comment - as I see their fuses blow. I notice that my desire to serve democratic ideals is increased and using the work simply as some sort of pacifier doesn't work. But neither do I wish to keep doing what I find myself currently doing. While ridiculously satisfying, I'm also getting that it's just another addictive, out of balance response to my own inner work. In my world I would be very confused if I thought I had the power to infulence anyone but me. However, I do like the stories I sometimes tell about how my words or actions changed someone else. My experience is that the world is just my projection. It changes as I change the story I am believing, not because of anything I say or do. " Sanity doesn't suffer, ever . . . ever! Sanity doesn't suffer, ever, ever! Isn't that lovely? " Byron Oh and I am a Bush supporter, and would love a demonstration of how you could lull me into areas of agreement and then totally annihilate me. Who knows perhaps I could lull you into areas of agreement with Bush and annihilate you with my superb debating skills. LOL ....

Wake up - nothing is more beautiful than manipulating the mirror so that someone can see more clearly. It's what does...My lens may not be as clear as hers, but in the consciousness chain of life a clearer mirror can always offer a reflection for one further down the chain of consciousness. I'm aware that my intent is still based in confusion...thinking that the person I'm talking to is wrong and I'm right. THAT'S what I'm working on undoing... sooooo buying into that bush is wrong... Jesus, Buddha, or any other enlightened soul could be standing before me telling me the most profound truths, and the ONLY thing that effects me is my STORY about what they are saying. If Jesus, Buddha or could influence anyone then the world would have been saved thousands of years ago. Have you noticed that nothing has really changed in the last two thousand years. We continue to lie, cheat, kill, rape, steal etc. ... etc. until we don't. Now has given us the Work, but I have noticed that it is ONLY my story about the Work that has lead me to practice it. It is ONLY my story about its effectiveness that keeps me practicing it. Even if I go to 's school for the Work, it's still only my story that makes it heaven or hell, it has NOTHING at all to do with . has no more influence over me than a cockroach crawling over my foot. I save me or I don't and I can use any tool I want to get there (ACIM, the Work, etc.) " Sanity doesn't suffer, ever . . . ever! Sanity doesn't suffer, ever, ever! Isn't that lovely? You can keep your story. In my experience , Jesus, Buddha need do nothing - the fact that they sometimes kept an unbroken connection to what IS rocks my world. > > If Jesus, Buddha or could influence anyone then the world would > have been saved thousands of years ago. My noticings are completely different. I've noticed that by being in the presence of folks who keep that " connection " more deeply than I, I am allowed to " see " and change happens. The only change I'm talkin' about is the change from identifying with body, money, people, etc. to simply sinking into experiencing that which is. Perhaps just a story - brain chemistry, functioning of person living in present moment is altered from normal consciousness. The further " off the beam " the more altered the brain scan. Because the brain entrains itself to its environment - what you saturate your mind with you become...the brain will entrain to a brain that is more in touch with truth and the lesser brain alter towards the saner brain - in other words the " lesser " brain actually begins to operate differently when around someone who is more " connected " . For me until I can defy the laws of science, science is a useful story. For me this is a happy story. For me that means just by being around a Jesus, Buddha or lesser beings in Truth like , Tolle, etc. they influence me - without me needing to think a single thought. > > Now has given us the Work, but I have noticed that it is ONLY > my story about the Work that has lead me to practice it.
