Hi everyone I have a question can a doctor put in a different kind of

pain medication in the pump other than morphine. Cause I am allergic

to morphine I itch and have a hard time breathing with it. I have a

spinal cord stimulator right now. But we aren't getting good

connection with it like I did with the first surgery. I have had a

total of four surgeries on my back for this for pain control. My

program guy said, if this doesn't work than I would have to do a pump.

I also worry about the cost of the medication to fill it each month. I

have insurance but the coverage on certain drugs isn't the best price.

If anyone could help me out with my concerns I would greatly apprecite

it. Please let me know if I can help any of you with questions on pain

managment.

take care
