Guest guest
I'm hypo and being treated with 150 mcg Synthroid. Having my dose increased has given me the following labs in late May: TSH 0.078 Thyroxine (T4) 8.8 T3 Uptake 33 Free Thyroxine Index 2.9 Triiodothyronine (T3) 156 Hypo symptoms have abated (except for the pesky weight). Also, I am 43 and have, to date, had regular periods, although heavy over the last few years since hypo symptoms. This month, I got my period on time, but with NO PMS. No cramps, no breast tenderness, no 10 days of warning signs like usual. It carried on like usual, but I continue to bleed and it's been 9 days (usually I go for about 6 days). Not heavily, just continual and with some light cramping. Obviously, I'll have to call my gyno, but wonder if it's possible my Synthroid is too high and can cause the problem. Any thoughts? Thanks!!! Guest guest
I was having my period start when I ovulated and continue on…so about 2 weeks. I was told it can be a hypo or a hyper symptoms. But obviously other things need to be checked since other things can cause it as well.
