Guest guest
-- Hi Fiona, I am new, so nice to meet you. I just wanted to comment on your liver issue. You said you felt better after supplementing with silymarin, right? You do know then that silymarin is an amazing herb for the liver? Your skin being yellow indicates jaundice. I wouldn't mess around with that at all. Jaundice is serious. Just my thought, but I would have some liver function tests done to see what's up, continue your silymarin, and once you know how serious this all is, then do the liver flushes and all. Any chance you could have hepatitis? Not to scare you, but the yellowing is not really a good sign.. please go to the doctor as soon as possible. Just my thought. Guest guest
Fiona, If your eyes are yellow I think you ought to consider going to the doctor as Dawn suggested and have your liver tested just to rule out hepatitis. Once you know what you are dealing with you can make a decision on which route to take to fix the problem. Love, Anita Fiona from South Africa checking in Hi all,For those of you who remember me, a big "Hi"! On April 22nd it will be a year since explant and here's what's happened:Just like you predicted, I went through the honey moon period when all symptoms stopped, including the endless hairloss. Two weeks after surgery I felt better than I had in many years, I had energy, could think straight, no pains anywhere, it was amazing, best thing I ever did for my poor abused body.Slowly a few of the symptoms returned, mainly the hairloss, which recently has been very bad, and what I think is liver issues. Overall though, I feel 200% better, and I would encourage any pre-explantees or those who are not sure, to go for it !I'm working again, have written a book about the experience, done some TV interviews, and continously distribute pamphlets to women to raise awareness, and it seems to be paying off ! All because of the marvellous support and info I'd gotten from angels like Patti and the others in this group. It seems as though the hairloss reflects how strong my immune system is, I'm just guessing here...but if I supplement Vit C or anything that boosts it, the hairloss worsens, as if my body has more ooomph to attack the "invaders" ( poor hair follicles!). I find it strange that it's mainly the head hair that's shedding, unless body hair's just not as noticeable ?Recently I kept battling with nausea, weeks and weeks of it. I went off coffee which helped a little, but then took Legalon which is Sylmarin, helped a heap, but had to do 2 courses before I really felt OK. I've noticed the whites of my eyes going quite yellow, research showed me it's likely liver/gall bladder...I wonder if the yellowness would go once I treat these ?Anyone out there had this ?Hard to tell if my skin's yellowed as I'm always tanned and it's hard to be objective about these things.More Legalon and one of the liver flush protocols on this site looms....Probably also explains the unusually severe pms/mood swings I've been having, as the liver deals with hormones too....I hesitate to go see a dr. as they end up giving so many toxic meds to fix livers....what do you guys think ? The natural route first ?Anyhow, it's nice to be back here, happy to share info with anyone who needs it !Fiona
Guest guest
- fiona hi. It is good to hear from you!! I am glad that you have experienced improvements!! It does sound like you have something going on now that needs to be checked out quickly. You sound like you have jaundice and that needs to be taken care of pronto. The symptoms you are describing could be from hepatitis. Hepatitis A can be even caught from eating in restaurants. I definitely would get some tests from your doctor done. YOu need to know what is happening. Then you can decide how you want to handle it. But without been seen, you are risking your health. Please let us know what you find out. ONce you get that issued cleared up, you can focus back on detoxing!! Take care. hugs kathy -- In , " fionahorse2000 " <fionap@i...> wrote: > > Hi all, > > For those of you who remember me, a big " Hi " ! Guest guest
Thanks Kathy, Seeing a doc this week. Didn't think it was hepatitis or jaundice, as I don't feel ill per se, but maybe one doesn't ? Dunno, will keep all posted, thanks for the interest. Sooo nice to be back among friends !
