Hi Ladies,

Just got back from the Dr. and my blood potasium levels were low, has anyone

ever had this problem?

Stacie,

Blood potassium is important . . . with low potassium,

your heart can stop! . . .

There are a number of foods that help replenish

potassium - one of the best is bananas.

Low potassium usually means you aren't getting enough

nourishment from your food . . . This can be a

digestive problem, or insufficient intake of food.

This may be seen in people who have had stomach

reduction surgery.

You can also lose potassium by taking diuretics, or

sweating heavily without replacing the vitamins and

minerals you're losing through sweat.

If you're eating plenty of healthy foods, and don't

fit into the other categories, you may want to look at

your digestive system. " Patient Heal Thyself " by Rubin

is a good place to start.
