Hey ,

Thanks for keeping us updated on your air date! I saw the first show

tonight, and I also taped it. RAchelle, thank you so much for

stepping up and telling your story! It was so nice to see your face--

your beautiful face! I know your segment was only a small portion of

the show, but hopefully it will have the intended impact. It was an

important story to tell. How are you feeling now?

I was just so saddened by the girl that underwent all that

surgery...lipo, lips augmented, boob job and nose job to the tune of

over $18,000! She was gorgeous, she didn't need it at all! All I could

think of was how sad it was that she even thought she needed it, what

a sickness we have in this country that beautiful women are going

under the knife and spending--no, wasting!--thousands of dollars on

surgery, for such shallow ends. Her boyfriend was a creep. Why do

women stay with men who are only too willing to see them go under the

knife for bigger boobs???? There's something wrong with that!! We

have so much more worth than that. But, I guess some women have goals

that lead them down that path in life. Life is so much more meaningful

than the glamour and glitz of a Maxim magazine cover.

I am hoping that if I can find the time, I can put all of our stories

on a CD that I can send out to the girls here on the group. I started

to do this last year, but thought I would wait for Shari's story to

air, and now there are about a half dozen stories that I will try to

add to the CD. Hopefully you'll be able to see them then. (Hopefully

I'll be able to fit it into my crazy schedule! Nobody hold your

breath, please! I apologize ahead of time for the delay!)

i live in canada and our mtv is different, i tried to watch it

tonighte over at a friends and they have different programing???? i

guess i will have to wait for the producers to send me a copy. d
