Guest guest
Hi Sue, You are so kind! I truly feel like the women here saved my life. I know it probably sounds corny, but I really do. If there is anything that I can do to help someone here, I would love to, I owe you so much. What is a far infrared sauna? I have never heard of it. Can you take supplements that haven’t been mixed with chemicals? I did an Organic Acid Urine test with Dr. Leu and the company that works with the lab formulates a powdered supplement according to your test results. I wonder if there is any way you could take this supplement. The name of the lab is Metametrix and their website is www.metametrix.com. The company that formulates the supplements is Metabolic Maintenance and their website is metabolicmaintenance.com. They are both in the US but maybe you can get them to ship you the test or give you a provider’s name where you live. The test is a urine test and is mailed back to Metametrix. My supplement is on order and will arrive in a couple of days. Currently I take all kinds of vitamins and supplements, over 20 per day, to stay healthy. I figure one powder and possibly a couple of capsules is much easier. My test results showed that I am abnormally low or don’t assimilate B vitamins. This can also be a problem/cause with fibromyalgia. I also was low in chromium which is tied in with carb assimilation and hypoglycemia. Glutathione is needed for the removal of toxic molecules. I have very little and indication is that there is evidence of detox stress on my liver. The biggie was that it showed a compound that indicates a troublesome bacteria, Clostridia, which is a gut bacteria. I have had GI pain for months but my gastro blew it off because he didn’t know what it was. He told me I had IB! Finally I will be treated for it! There were several other things the test indicated but these were the most interesting to me. I hope I haven’t bored you with the test info. If there is anyway you could tolerate the powder, it may be a great option for you. I’m really excited about trying it. Guest guest
Hi Sue, I have had massages where the therapists use small ceramic infrared heat and they feel great! Do you use it because it feels good or to produce a sweat to try to get rid of some of the toxins? It makes sense to me. We have a steam shower which is a steam room built into our shower. I sweat a lot when I’m in it. I have to use a damp cloth over my mouth and nose because I don’t like breathing the hot air. The Far Infrared Sauna eliminates that problem. I would suggest that you drink tons of water before going in so you don’t dehydrate and have a more concentrated toxin load. I am a test nut, I love to know what my body is doing so I can fix it. I’m sure most people don’t have as many tests run as I do but I like to stay on top of my health. I don’t take it for granted since I was so sick, something I’m sure all of you understand well. I can’t believe I nearly trashed it on 4/22. I am really disappointed in myself — but so grateful to have found you all. Guest guest
Hi Rogene, Very interesting website! I didn’t test low in magnesium so I doubt it would help me but I’ll bet it will help a lot of people. Guest guest
Hi Rogene, I just thought of something interesting. Around Christmas I developed a strange eye twitch. My eye would twitch several times a day uncontrollably. I asked Dr. Leu about it and he asked if I was consuming more caffeine than usual. I normally don’t drink any caffeine but had been out to lunch with my sister a few times and enjoyed mocha lattes, several of them. The increased caffeine caused my eye to twitch because the caffeine was depleting my body of magnesium! I stopped drinking the mochas and took magnesium at bedtime for a few days and the twitch went away.
