True it was me.. but anyway.. i have on a number of occasions..

mentioned .. the book PSychiatry Ultimate Betrayal.. anyone who sees a

psychiatrist i think should read it..

its very interesting...I dont know that you need it.. i guess i do

but i wanted to recommend it anyway.. still i'm sure some people have

benefited.. from psychiatry and i might go to one sometime.. however i

dont think people should use drugs.. but then i know a lot of people

say they benefit from them..

that is something i would not take.. but that is just me..

how do you know the meds helped or was it a change in your thought?

how would one know.?

With the work i wonder why you would need meds.. ?

this whole med thing is interesting....it occurs to me that i have heard katie

saying that prozak is god....and that meds can help bring relief, that taking

medication when it feels like it is right can be a kind action....it is always

up to an individual to know if it is right for their path, and that can

change...

i used to have many judgements about medication and 'natural' healing...i have

fewer now than ever and am open for myself and trust others to find what is

right for them. that feels much better for me...

Ive also heard katie saying meds were ok.. however.. prozac.. has a

warning label on it in GErmany " may cause violent behavior "

ITs very popular in the states.. and other anti depressants..

They have a lot of side effects.. and so I think their bad.. but then

i suppose it all depends on ones stories..

Pscyhaitry ultimate betrayal.. has pages of side effects caused by

anti depressants..

I also received in the mail from a prozac survivors group ..pages of

cases in which people have murdered people on prozac..BAsically they

can take away inhibitions.

Its kept quiet pretty well.. by the drug companies.. i think that is

why there are so many new ones lately.. just my opinion

..

I know that is a story.. love, roslyn

Hi Roslyn,

I hear what you are saying about prozac and other drugs. You could be right. I

am aware of most of what you shared and I think these stories are interesting to

question, for myself, when they bring me stress. I dont happen to be on any

kind of prescription drugs, however, if a doctor suggested that something might

be helpful and I was in pain, I would want find out for myself if it were true

for me or not.

Cheers,

No, Im not a scientologist.. I met my husband in the 1970s on a

communication course of scientology and dropped out before

completing.. it.. due to being too self conscious.--like panic

However i do believe there take on meds.. is correct.. based on my own

observation..

years ago i was at a depression support group and got into an argument

with a lady on prozac.. i thought she was going to beat me up she was

so angry.. i agreed it was an ok drug to protect myself.. i felt like

she was proving my point.. but i didnt want to get beat up in the

parking lot so i agreed it could help people .. and I realize i cant

know what is best for others.. . totally..I know that is being in

others business.. but i think we have not been properly informed in

this country or others.. especially US.. anti depressants are taken by

a LOT of people. And they havent all gotten violent either..most

havent.. but i think we take it for granted.. if a dr perscribes it

--its ok..

THeres a lot of kids on ritalin which is an addictive drug.. and

probably will cause many to be addicts as adults..cant know that.. but

it is addictive Thats why so many acientologists get passionate

about it..Like Travolta ,Tom Cruz and Kristie alley.. still it

is accepted in the US.. and some kids are forced to take ritalin by

the school system.. I think the kids of columbine were on ritalin..

Scientology has a purification rundown.. which is running and being

in a sauna to get past drugs out of the system.. they come out in

sweat.. drugs are stored in the cells of ones body..

Im not sure if it works for prozac.. maybe not

But since they have helped you .. you cant argue with your own

experience.. ..

I've also had panic attacks.. and dont have a lot of interest in sex..

.. I was glad katie once said some people have interest in sex some

dont and thats ok.. i was happy about that.. as it made me feel

better

Theres a few drugs my friend has taken she became addicted to and she

is still on drugs.. they really dont ever say they are addictive ..

till your addicted..

I cant remember the name of it.. but anyway.. i guess you have to do

what works.. for you..

I remember a story of Ram DAs.. who was a the former drug addict who

went to india to study with a guru.. RAm DAs gave a whole handful of

different psychedelic drugs to the guru.. he took the whole bunch and

had no reaction what so ever.. RAm DAs studied with him and became a

guru himself in the US..hes getting very old now and had a stroke.. he

says he was stroked.. anyway he was popular in the 70s.. and still

gives lectures i think occasionally though his speech is not all that

good.. HE took LSD with leary in the 60s..

anyway the spirit is stronger than the body so i suppose it doesnt

really matter what you do to it.. love, roslyn
