Thank you Sweetie. You didn't have to clear anything up. I completely understood why you thought I should get in touch with her. That is exactly why I did email her. To see if she has ever had anyone with this problem. The only thing is how do I get her to read my blood work when she can't do the labs and when they have so far come back normal. That is why I am going to the internist. Maybe they will come up with something. If not, maybe I should ask for my lab work and I can read it to Dr. Kolb over the phone or something.

Has your hair loss stopped since being on the thyroid meds?

Do you think you will ever be able to get off the meds with a thyroid condition? Or is it something you have to take forever?

This might sound terribly vain, but did you gain weight on the thyroid meds? A little worried about that too!

Thank you Cheryl, for any and all information you have given to me.

I would like to clarify why I suggested Dr. Kolb to Marie. Dr. Kolb is an expert on implants and if you think your hair loss is related to implants or explant surgery, a simple phone call and lab results could reveal a wealth of information for you before you started running off to specialists.I have had massive hair loss (incl. eyebrows falling out completely) and no explanation from previous (about 6) dr.s but, when I had my pre-op labs and all my symptoms, Dr. Kolb evaluated and decided to put me on Armour Thyroid & Adrenal Fractions.Just a suggestion that you could call her and get her opinion even if you aren't her patient. She just wants to help ALL implant women thus the reason she responds to so many emails on so many support sites.Sorry for any confusion, was just trying to help!Cheryl Opinions expressed are NOT meant to take the place of advice given by licensed health care professionals.
