Guest guest
Thanks Pamela, I had not thought of favorite munchies and extra pillows. I'll take a belt just in case. I've decided to take my electric blanket too. Since my health issues, I've been cold night and day year-round. So, I'm going to do that for me, even if it takes up half my luggage space. I'm also going to take my stuffed bunny rabbit, Woobie. I'm 44 and have a wabbit named Woobie...my inner child is still alive, thank God....J
Guest guest
Hi J, Woobie is a definite necessity! The warm blanket is excellent too. I made sure to bring thick socks too as sometimes hotel floors seem scratchy or the bathroom floors seem cold with regular socks on. The one thing I might do differently is see if the hotel has disabled-access bathrooms, the kind that have the sprayer for shower rather than the regular shower. If available it is wonderful for washing the hair and keeping bandages dry. Like I said, I think Dr. M moves along more quickly with stitch removal and such, maybe not even having drains, so that may be a moot point. I am 2 1/2 weeks out of explant and feel really good, just occasional irritation around the nipples not much at all. You will do great!
