Hi,

Yes, I am the founder of the site. There are actually quite a few

alternative and naturopahtic docs here in Vegas, so many that I have

not invested much time into checking them all out. (At this point,

no need to....I feel great.) I had better luck with alt. docs in

Tucson where Dr. Weil lives. The few that I have been to

here in Vegas I wouldn't classify as real stellar...most were too

willing to put you on what Dr. Jordan Rubin calls " the hamster wheel

of alternative medicine. " I had one recommend HGH shots to me.

There was NO WAY I was going to get those! Having done my research,

I knew those were highly questionable, and I refused them. But, he

also diagnosed my Hashimoto's, so he wasn't all bad. But the point

is that doctors are not gods...they are good for getting the

appropriate testing, but other than that, I think they do need to be

questioned, including alternative medicine docs. The good thing is

that they understand the concepts of toxicity, which we all deal

with.

There are some that are quite well known, and I am sure some that

treat the many celebrities that show up here. I even heard of one

clinic that you couldn't just go to...you had to get a referral--

like in having to be invited to make an appointment! That was

weird.

I found a great massage therapist whose specialty is fibromyalgia,

so I could recommend her. Her name is De Lepak at Beauty World

on Eastern Ave.

I have not used an acupuncturist here, and since I have an infrared

sauna at home, I haven't looked around the gyms for them. But

perhaps Anita or Daryl who live here as well can offer more help.
